Your Untapped Lead Source To Make Millions
What is the most important entrepreneurial skill?
I love persistence. It's a cliché to talk about sticking with something, but when you're 22, 25, or even 28, it's tough to think about doing something for 10 years. Looking back at my history, it wasn't until about 10 years in that I looked up and realized, "Oh, I've actually been accomplishing things." It required keeping my head down and staying focused.
What stands out is that the persistence wasn’t about one specific thing, like real estate. It was about developing a skill set that worked well in real estate and could be applied to other areas. That's what you leverage to help other entrepreneurs. Persistence, in this sense, is more about building a versatile skill set.
What is a common mistake many entrepreneurs make?
For many entrepreneurs, one of the biggest mistakes early on is trying to do everything themselves. This may sound simple, but it’s a common issue. I still struggle with it because I am very driven and like to have my hands in everything. When I first started my agency, I was doing everything myself, so it technically wasn’t an agency. This approach quickly led to burnout and many late nights. While there is value in the grind and hustle, you also have to consider your family and find balance.
What can business owners do if think they don’t have enough money to invest in their business?
Ask yourself if "I don't have the money" is an excuse. Often, it’s about restructuring your budget to make it possible. This isn't true for everyone, but I've seen people say they lack the money for something, only to realize, after reviewing their finances, that they could reallocate funds. Many people don’t even know their financial situation well—lacking transparency, proper P&Ls, or an organized budget is a common mistake. If you're claiming you don’t have the resources, look at your budget and lay everything out. It may take time, and while I dislike bookkeeping and accounting, see if you can move things around. Even if it requires some sacrifice, consider your options carefully.
What is the impact of a great team?
One of the main reasons for our success is our team. When you build something great, great people are always involved in the process, helping you. We are helping hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people each year through our business, making a significant impact. We have a great team, and they excel at what they do. Empowering them and allowing them to step into their greatness is a key reason we keep moving forward.
How can entrepreneurs scale their impact?
There are two key strategies that work together. First is using virtual stages to grow your impact. Running virtual events has been a core marketing strategy for many entrepreneurs. The second is leveraging other people's audiences to fuel those virtual events. When you combine a well-built virtual event with the reach of other people's audiences, the results can be incredible.
